Welcome to the latest edition of the San Diego Participant Observer newsletter! Our recipe for this month is the quick and easy-to-make Kimchi Haemul Soondubu Jjigae an exquisitely tasty kimchi and tofu soup. Even if you shy away from kimchi (like me), you'll love this soup! Our book selection for this month is The Hummingbird by the acclaimed Italian writer Sandro Veronesi. Our suggestion for international music is Minka by the Bulgarian vocal ensemble Eva Quartet.
